A COACHING SOLUTION FOR ENDURANCE ATHLETES
My name is Ryan Eckert and I am a competitive amateur triathlete with a passion for both pursuing my highest potential as an athlete as well as helping guide others towards the realization of their own potential. My love for both endurance sport as well as my background in exercise science/strength and conditioning has led me to the creation of Peak Endurance Solutions, a coaching solution for endurance athletes.
I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach, an ASCA Level 3 Swim Coach, and a TrainingPeaks Level 2 Coach. I have been helping guide other's towards their fitness and performance goals since 2012 working both as a Personal Trainer and a Coach through Peak Endurance Solutions. I am the Host of the VO2 Max Podcast as well as the author of the book, "Swim, Bike, Run, Happiness: My Journey to Overcoming Depression".

Returning to endurance racing after welcoming two children in 3 years, I was incredibly nervous as I began my journey back to AZ 70.3. Having worked with other coaches, I was apprehensive to hire another one for the event. However, my mind quickly changed working with Ryan, he is phenomenal, the best money I spent when it came to preparing myself to race again.
As a new parent with a full-time job, I knew it would be a challenge to mix training into my already busy schedule. Ryan designed a plan that worked for me, followed up each week to ensure I had no questions and to see how I was feeling both physically and mentally.
I could rave about Ryan’s high knowledge level, his considerate nature and supportive coaching; those are all very real traits of his. But the thing that set Ryan a part for me, was that he designed a plan that challenged me as an athlete, I did more than I ever thought I could; yet did not leave me feeling exhausted and burned out by race day. I arrived on race day physically and mentally prepared to have a great day, and I did. I finished AZ 70.3 with a PR in both my swim and bike, plus a perfect plan on the run.
Over 19 weeks, I never felt ‘alone’ on the journey. Ryan was available, honest, and determined to help me reach my peak. I could not have asked for more and when I race again, I’ll be working with Ryan!
