The squat is a foundational movement pattern for any athlete to master. However, there are some common faults that an athlete can often run into when attempting this specific movement. Regardless of whether a squat is performed with one's own body-weight or weighted with a barbell, dumbbell, resistance bands, etc., there are certain technical "checkpoints" that all athletes want to nail to ensure that they are performing a squat correctly and safely.
