About the event
The 2nd Annual 'Reach Your Peak' Spring Open Water Swim Camp is presented by Peak Endurance Solutions. This is a one-day open water swim camp led by coaches Ryan Eckert and Taylor Newgaard. The focus of this open water swim camp is on basic open water swim skills and pacing tactics tailored specifically for triathletes. Detailed event information, including a schedule of events as well as equipment needed for the swim camp, will be sent to you in an email after you have completed your registration.
There will be 75 minutes of open water swim education, including mobility for swimming and for comfort in wetsuits, swim warm-up exercises that can be done priot to open water swimming, and putting on a wetsuit properly. Afterwards, there will be a 75 minute swim session consisting of 45 minutes of open water skills practice followed by 30 minutes of open water "free swimming"…
