This document allows athletes to set various types of goals surrounding race day (i.e., process, performance, and outcome goals) as well as walk through the logistics of everything that goes into race day (e.g., wake-up time, what to eat for breakfast, post-race recovery plans, etc.). This document might seem like overkill on seemingly minor details in some places, but trust me, as a coach and athlete myself it is always a smart move to walk through every single detail of race day ahead of time. As athletes after all, we invest so much time, energy, and money into training for a race. Why leave the details up to chance come race day?
