This sample plan includes a periodized program for swim, bike, run, and strength training so that you can see how they all work together over the course of a properly progressed and organized training plan. Keep in mind that this is not the only way to periodize a plan. The art of periodization comes into play and means that a 6-month periodization cycle can look a bit different from athlete-to-athlete, but this sample plan is based on the current science we have surrounding periodization and programming.
